A protected block within the master schedule is often a strong option when it is available. Cignition can also support before-school, after-school, summer, and at-home models when that is what the local context requires.

Important context

Both studies measured fifth-grade fractions knowledge using assessments aligned with the content taught, not state assessments or measures of overall fifth-grade mathematics achievement.

They involved different participants, conditions, and treatment designs and were not a head-to-head comparison of one-to-one and small-group tutoring.
